Adds features to use photo data more conveniently in iOS devices

(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Toshiba Corporation (TOKYO:6502) today announced the availability of an app that simplifies and enhances wireless data transfers between an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch ("iOS devices") and "FlashAir", the SDHC memory card with embedded wireless LAN functionality. On opening the app, it displays a list of photo files and folders stored on the card, and they can be downloaded selectively or as a batch. The app, "FlashAir", is now available free of charge for iOS Devices through Apple's App Store.
About "FlashAir" "FlashAir" is an SDHC Memory Card that incorporates a wireless LAN chip set plus antenna for wireless communications. The Card supports wireless sharing and transfers of photos from digital cameras to smartphones and tablets. An app for Android Devices is also available through Google Play™.
