Dr. Mohammed Mattar Al Kaabi, Secretary General of the ‘Forum for Promoting Peace in Muslim Societies’ announced that the third annual Forum for Promoting Peace in Muslim Societies will be held on December from 18th – 19th at Jumeirah at Etihad Towers in Abu Dhabi.
Dr. Al Kaabi recognises the paramount importance of this conference and expresses his heartfelt appreciation for the UAE government for their continuous cooperation in supporting this initiative. Of particular appreciation is of His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, for his patronage and under whom this has been organised by with the supervision of HE Sheikh Abdullah Bin Bayyah, the President of the Forum for Promoting Peace in Muslim Societies. The theme of the third annual Forum for Promoting Peace in Muslim Societies will be ‘The National State in Muslim Societies.’ “This topic will serve as an intellectual springboard that aims to transform religious discourse which will prove to be vital in understanding the national state, its legitimacy and relevance in promoting peace”, concluded Dr. Al Kaabi.
