“At Emirates Hospital, we are at the forefront of providing premium healthcare facilities to not just our patients, but the wider community too. Health-checkups as these are a reflection of our vision to serve the community and create healthier lifestyles, and we are pleased to be able to provide our expert consultations to members of Dubai Police and Al Wasl Club,” Dr Yehia El Gabbani, Hospital Director of Emirates Hospital.
Dr Yehia added: "We recognize that police officers and sportsmen work under high stress conditions and many don’t make adequate time for basic health checks, so we brought our services to the Dubai Police headquarters and Al Wasl Club. Through the medium of free health check-ups, we aim to provide officers and members of the club an opportunity to meet with our doctors to check on their health and learn ways to lead healthier lives so they remain role models for their families and communities."
Each wellness screening provided attendees’ quality time with a hospital specialist who discussed personal health and lifestyle and offered them health advice based on their personal consultation, perfect to improve their well-being.
Emirates Health volunteer programme is a multi-layered initiative that aims to empower individuals towards making informed health decisions and comprehending the determinants of health, diseases and disability as well as the opportunities for progress.
