A delegation from the Traffic General Directorate in the Kingdom of Bahrain reviewed the experience of the Vehicles and Drivers Licensing Department at Abu Dhabi Police in providing services to customers using the latest technologies.
The delegation, headed by Lieutenant Sheikh Nader Bin Mohammed Al Khalifa toured the Customer Service Center at the Department, and acquainted with the work nature and services provided at the center. The delegation also listened to a briefing by Colonel Suhail Al Khaiaili, Head of the Vehicles and Drivers Licensing Section about the services provided by the Department through smart applications channels, the “Sahel” self-service E-payment device, and the comprehensive employee program. Lieutenant Sheikh Al Khalifa also noted that the center has obtained a 5-star rating, according to the accredited Star Rating System for government service centers.
The delegation also reviewed the department’s work methodology according to the best international standards in the areas of services development, and the “Happiness Meter” at the Customer Service Center. Colonel Al Khaiaili stressed the importance of the index in measuring customers’ satisfaction and happiness with the provided services, which are essential to ensure developing these services, in a way that meets their aspirations, commensurate with the government’s vision in this regard.
Colonel Al Khaiaili also explained to the delegation the electronic data archiving system, which provides users with streamlined access to reference files. It also reduces expenses and storage requirements, since paper files occupy large spaces.
He said: “The data’s accuracy and validity in the e-archiving system, considered to be one of the most important tools to transform data into useful information that contribute to provide distinguished services to the public.” He also pointed out that the e-archiving system is in line with the government’s vision to develop performance to a higher level, and to follow modern methods to provide the best streamlined services to the public. This system also allows the department’s personnel to carry out their work with a high level of efficiency.
