(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Toshiba Tec Corporation (TOKYO:6588) will launch five new series of multi-function peripherals (MFP) consisting of 20 models*1 featuring a new platform design with the basic body colour changed from ivory to modern sophisticated black. At the beginning of summer 2016, Toshiba Tec is refreshing its MFP line-up with three colour MFP series, e-STUDIO2500AC, e-STUDIO5005AC, and e-STUDIO7506AC, and two monochrome MFP series, e-STUDIO5008A and e-STUDIO8508A.

Toshiba’s MFPs are integrating newly-engineered software and hardware advancements including an enhanced user interface, embedded application platform, advanced cloud and mobile printing capabilities, a new processor, and an outstanding Dual Scan Document Feeder (DSDF)*2 within a stylish, yet durable body.

The new series of Toshiba MFPs have been planned and developed with “Together Information” in mind – Toshiba Tec Printing Solutions’ vision of how people and organizations create, record, share, manage and display ideas and data. This is reflected in the global message for these new series: Connect. Integrate. Simplify. - Technology for every workplace delivering advanced functionality, ease of use and peace of mind. Understanding that every industry has unique workflow needs, Toshiba has developed customizable MFPs to make your job easier.

Toshiba Tec included its new MFP systems called e-BRIDGE Next in its latest MFP series to present users with more flexibility while adapting to their unique workflows. The new touch screen user interface allows for easy customization to address user’s preferences and needs, which can focus on vertical markets and simplify the workflow. The embedded application platform makes it possible to easily integrate solution application into e-BRIDGE Next series. The e-BRIDGE Next further simplifies cloud and mobile printing enabling users to work anywhere they prefer.

A powerful multi-core processor enables users to produce complex documents without having to compromise on quality. Toshiba’s outstanding DSDF is capable of handling a maximum of 300 sheets and allows for double-sided colour scanning at speeds of up to 240 images per minute (300 dpi). The high-speed data processing and output save time while increasing business efficiencies.

The e-STUDIO's stylish new look complements most contemporary business settings, and the modern sophisticated black colour and texture symbolize the next generation of MFPs. Furthermore, the new Toshiba MFP series’ more durable and reliable engine will maximize uptime and reduce cost of ownership.

Toshiba Tec’s latest offerings align with its commitment to the environment. The new series meet the criteria of major environmental programs and standards, such as EPEAT®’s Gold*3, the international ENERGY STAR® program and the Blue Angel mark.
