The Ministry of Interior called upon the citizens of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the People’s Republic of China who wish to replace their UAE driving licenses with licenses issued there, to visit the designated offices in the airports of Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen.
The Ministry of Interior had signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) about the reciprocal recognition of driving licenses between the Ministry of Interior in the UAE and the Ministry of General Security in the People’s Republic of China as of 13th of March 2016.
Brigadier Ghaith Hassan Al Zaabi, Director General, Traffic Coordination Directorate General, Ministry of Interior said that the UAE citizens who hold driving licenses can replace them at the designated offices, during their visit or residency in the People’s Republic of China.
