Security Media Honors Poet Rashid bin Yadah

The Security Media Department at the General Secretariat of the Office of HH Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior recently honored the poet Rashid bin Yadah Al Mansouri for his contribution of acquainting the public with the services of the various police departments at the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters (GHQ). Al Mansouri’s verses of Nabatean poetry were aired during radio broadcasts of last month’s Ramadan poetry competition. 

Major Fawaz Ali Abdullah, Director of Security Media Department, presented poet Al Mansouri a certificate of honor in recognition of his efforts to the success of the programs and events organized by the Department for various occasions. 

Commending the poet Al Mansouri, Alia Al Rumaithi, Radio Branch Manager at the Security Media Department, noted that he has penned poetic Nabatean verses for each contest. “The poet Rashid bin Yadah Al Mansouri recorded his verses in the studio at the Radio Branch to acquaint the public with the services provided by various departments of Abu Dhabi Police,” she said. “The poetry competition aimed to promote and raise the police culture amongst various segments of community members; and overall, it was a great success and garnered a large audience.”
