The Law Respect Culture Bureau at the Ministry of Interior recently carried out a number of police-related awareness-raising lectures for graduates who completed the Criminal Investigation Course at the Police College in Abu Dhabi and the Federal Police School at Sharjah under the supervision of the Officers Training Institute.
Lieutenant Colonel Dr. Salah Al Ghoul, Director of Law Respect Culture Bureau at the Ministry of Interior, stressed the importance of focusing on newly graduated officers in order to enhance their legal culture and raise their awareness regarding various legal issues and common mistakes.
The awareness lectures were delivered by Lieutenant Jassem Mohammed Khamis, Law Respect Culture Bureau Branch Manager in the Northern Region and Lieutenant Saif Rashid Al Hindasi, Law Respect Culture Bureau Branch Manager in the Eastern Region. Both lecturers focused on the Law Respect Culture Bureau’s role and strategic objectives aimed at enhancing the legal culture and inculcating positive professional and ethical behaviors and practices among all police staff members, in addition to promoting their legal awareness.
The newly graduated officers were acquainted with the various legal aspects that regulate the work of police staff members and were briefed about their legal and professional rights and obligations at all levels.
