Major General Salem Al Shamesi, Director General of Finance and Services, hosted a ceremony to award a number of officers working at the directorate with their new ranks.
Major General Al Shamesi extended his congratulations to the promoted officers and stressed that such a promotion should serve as an incentive to exert additional efforts towards upgrading the system of police work and reaching new heights of professional excellence.
He also called upon the promoted officers to double the efforts in the pursuit of excellence, and to use their ambition in order to improve performance, in a way that would ultimately contribute to enhancing the overall quality and development of services. In conclusion, he wished the promoted officers continued success.
For his part, Brigadier General Dr Ali Salim Al Tunaiji, Deputy Commander of Special Security Forces, awarded 12 officers from the Special Security Forces Headquarters with their new ranks.

Colonel Saif Al Ketbi, Police College Director also adorned a number of Police College officers with their new ranks. The officers were promoted by virtue of the Ministerial Resolution that Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, has recently issued.
Colonel Al Ketbi urged the promoted officers to exert more efforts and to show more dedication in order to improve the standards of police work. He also urged them to enhance performance for the sake of achieving quality and development of services; in a way that would ultimately contribute to maintaining the Police College’s achievements that enhance acquired security and stability.
