ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates - Monday, June 15th 2015 [ME NewsWire]
The Naturalization, Residency and Ports Affairs Sector at the Ministry of Interior has announced that the working hours for their nationwide departments are to be divided into two separate shifts: 9 am to 2 pm and 2 pm to 6 pm. The working hours have been changed from the regular shift of 9 am to 6 pm in order to ensure the timely delivery of customer transactions, and to avoid work pressures and an overcrowding of customers during the holy month of Ramadan.
The amended working hours during Ramadan come as a response to the directives of the higher leadership to enhance the levels of customer service, and to reinforce the overall concepts of quality. This move additionally embodies the strategy of the Naturalization, Residency and Ports Affairs Sector as they endeavor to provide quality services to the public and to alleviate the burden for customers.
