“Our ambition is to pioneer a location where passion and purpose come together to connect each area of the sector and drive forward the region’s design community. We are dedicated to ensuring that each and every brand that joins us – ranging from small design start-ups to iconic global brands – is part of a fully-fledged creative community that sits at the heart of Dubai’s design scene. We want to inspire, engage and enable every creative entity within our community, as well as visitors and tourists.

“d3’s Creative Community will help to foster the growth of the UAE’s design industry by acting as a dedicated destination for all things design, fashion, art and luxury.

“Part of d3’s role will be to celebrate original and regional products, designs and creative talent, as well as our successes so that there is enhanced interest in what Dubai has to offer the world. Having innovative emerging brands with us, which were inspired and nurtured in Dubai, are the ideal flagship partners for the d3 community to propel Dubai’s global position as a hub for design, innovation and creativity.”

Khaled AlMheiri, Vice-Chairman of Marka said: “I have been a supporter of the d3 vision from its inception. The region needed a hub to bring together both its established as well as its up and coming fashion and arts leaders. We at Marka are committed to d3 and looking forward to establishing our global headquarters there.”
