Zayed University Female Students Introduced to the Tasks of Abu Dhabi Police Evidence

ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates - Thursday, December 25th 2014 [ME NewsWire]

Social Support Centers Department at Abu Dhabi Police organized a field visit for female trainees from Zayed University to the Forensic Evidence Department and introduced them to the tasks and accomplishments of the Department. The visit also included acquainting the trainees with the distinguished status in technological, scientific and human resources that the Department enjoys, enabling it to surpass its peers.

Colonel Abdul Rahman Al Hammadi, Head of the Forensic Evidence Department welcomed the visitors. After that, the students toured the various sections of the Department, including the Machinery and Firearms Section, Chemical Analysis Section, Biological Inspections, Biometrics, and Documents Sections; in addition to the Technical Section and Fires Section. The visitors were accompanied by a number of officers.

The students praised the advance level that they witnessed in the Department’s sections in addition to the modern technologies and advanced equipment used in detecting various crimes as they help in realizing the vision and objectives of the Forensic Evidence Department in fostering the security and satiability journey.
