Police Sports Association: Sports Facilities Management Course Concludes

The Police Sports Association has concluded the activities of the ‘Sports Facilities Management’ course, which was held at the Leaders Qualification Center’s Hall in Dubai. Participants from the different police headquarters, general directorates across the UAE took part in the five-day course, along with a number of police recruits from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states.

Brigadier Mohammed Hamid Dalmouj Al Dhaheri, Chairman of the Police Sports Association, asserted that the Association attaches great importance to specialized courses across all fields, via various plans and programs. This approach is designed to lay strong and solid groundwork and provide highly qualified personnel through specialized scientific and practical education, to empower them to be creative in their field.

Adding further, he said: “Participants in the course underwent distinguished training and education, which was provided by an elite group of academics. This will undoubtedly contribute to positively develop and hone the potentials of all of the participants who attended the ‘Sports Facilities Management’ course.” He also wished the best of luck to participants, and urged them to further seek academic attainment, in order to share their experiences with their colleagues in the sports sector.

Brigadier Al Dhaheri continued: “The Police Sports Association strives constantly, through the different programs and activities, to prepare and qualify staff members who work in the police sports sector,  and to provide them with the latest information and knowledge in the field of sports planning.” He added that the course, which was attended by more than 40 participants, included an elaborate scientific program, with several specialized lectures, delivered by a number of experts, notably Major Dr. Saud Salem Al Junaibi, Dr. Mohammed Abdel Azeem, Maqboul Dad and Carlo Nohra.

Towards the end of the ceremony, Brigadier Al Dhaheri honored the participants and the lecturers, in the presence of Salem Saeed bin Hazim, Director of the Leader's Qualification Center; ; Colonel Aref Ali Obaid Al Rayes, Acting Head of the Police Sports Association Department; Colonel Sultan bin Saeed Al Wada’ani, Secretary General of the Saudi Sports Federation for the Internal Security Forces; and Colonel Saeed Hudairi Al Hamalaan, Secretary General of Kuwaiti Sports Association.  In conclusion, Brigadier Al Dhaheri presented a commemorative symbolic gift to the Leaders Qualification Center in Dubai, on behalf of the Police Sports Association.
