MoI Calls upon its Staff Members to Continue Providing Innovative Ideas

Stressed the importance of transferring knowledge and experiences among its leaders

The Ministry of Interior called upon its staff members to continue providing innovative ideas that enhance efforts to develop and keep abreast of latest developments, confirming that the wise leadership and government of the UAE continuously strive to pursue new endeavors in creativity and leadership in a variety of fields. The Ministry noted that the country’s leadership also believes in the importance of teamwork on both local and global scales, in order to contribute to creating a more stable and secure world, and to provide prosperous opportunities for the people through the exchange of creative experiences and expertise.

Colonel Mohammed Hamid bin Dalmouj Al Dhaheri, Strategy and Performance Development Director General at the Ministry of Interior and Head of Innovation Team, recently met with the employees taking part in the second Creativity and Innovation Development Program of the Ministry of Interior at Afaq Leadership Development Center Abu Dhabi.

He confirmed the importance of transferring knowledge and experiences among the Ministry’s leaders, and the leadership’s support to the innovative employees at the Ministry to empower them through enhancing their creative thinking and cultures in upgrading the strategic development projects at the Ministry of Interior. He also stressed the need to focus on the most important activities carried out by the ministry in the areas of enhancing creativity and creating an environment that stimulates and encourages creativity at the Ministry of Interior. Moreover, he hailed the unwavering support and attention dedicated by the police leadership to building qualified and creative human staff and their contributions in maintaining the national gains.

Furthermore, he expressed his hope that they would show commitment towards the program, benefit from the information and experiences they gain, and submit their suggestions and opinions to improve the program and apply the knowledge they acquired in their different work fields. He also urged them to transfer knowledge to their colleagues in order to produce interest, pursue excellence, and always come in the first place. He pointed out that the program is considered one of the most important tools to discover creative individuals to raise the level of performance at the Ministry and benefit from the experiences in order to achieve excellence.

The Strategy and Performance Development Director General had recently attended the graduation ceremony of the communication skills in enhancing organizational innovation course which was organized by the Leadership Development and Creativity Center with the participation of 20 employees taking part in the second Creativity and Innovation Development Program.

It is worth mentioning that this course comes in line with the integrated training content for the employees taking part in the program which included training workshops in the area of creativity and meetings with police leaderships at the ministry, in addition to educational and theoretical lectures in the area of creativity delivered by academic officers specialized in creativity and innovation. In addition to internal and external visit programs aimed at identifying the best applied practices in the area of creativity and innovation.
