ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates - Monday, January 19th 2015 [ME NewsWire]

This evening, Monday, the Ministry of Interior (MoI) will organize its second awareness council in the reception hall of Sheikh Khalid Bakhit bin Tannaf Al Menhali’s home located in Bani Yas, Abu Dhabi. The council, which will be held under the title ‘School Violence and its Impact on Students’, will be managed by media figure Munther Al Muzaki, presenter for Abu Dhabi Media and from the Media and Public Relations Department at the Ras Al Khaimah Police General Headquarters.

The council will discuss key issues related to school violence and its impact on students, which include the extent of its impact on young people and the family entity, alongside the reasons behind such methods of violence and the ways to protect children.

The MoI, represented by the Law Respect Culture Bureau, in cooperation with the Security Media Department, had previously launched this year’s first awareness council on the 12th of January. These your-round councils held across Abu Dhabi discuss a variety of social issues regarding national character, community issues, public services, and police work.
