Civil Defense General Directorate at the Ministry of Interior (MoI) honored the students’ team from Al Ittihad Private School – Jumeira at the school premises for inventing ‘inflammable wood foam’.
Major General Jassem Muhammad Al Marzouqui, Civil Defense General Commander-in-Chief at the MoI, valued the efforts of the school administration for supporting the innovative femal students. He explained that this innovation represents an added value to Civil Defense as it contributes to saving lives and property. He also stressed on the leadership’s commitment to encouraging new ideas, supporting them, and providing suitable environment the helps developing these ideas in order to make the UAE a hub for innovation and innovators.
The honorees expressed their gratitude for the recognition, noting that it strongly encourages and incites them propose further innovative ideas and positive suggestions that contribute to saving lives, reducing environmental effects, encourages new generations to positively contribute to serving their society, and inspires them to contribute and innovate.
The celebration was attended by Brigadier Mohamed Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Director of the Fire Prevention and Safety Affairs General Directorate; and Colonel Mohammed Abdullah Al Tikawi, Head of the Media Affairs Department.
