The Police Schools Department at the General Directorate of Human Resources at Abu Dhabi Police participated in the “Ramadan Safety” campaign. The campaign was recently launched nationwide by the Al Ihsan Charity Association in Dubai, to mark the Holy month of Ramadan. The campaign objective was to promote participation from the community and carry out charity work.
As part of the campaign, students from the Police Schools distributed Iftar meals to road users in Al Ain city.
Colonel Waleed Al Shamesi, Director General of the Police College and Head of the Police Schools Department underlined the commitment of its students to taking part in the community event: “The Ramadan Safety campaign strengthens the values of human solidarity within the community during the Holy month of Ramadan,” he noted.
For his part, Lieutenant Colonel Rasas Al Ameri, Deputy Head of the Police Schools Department emphasized that volunteering serves the community. “It is our duty to instill the foundations of volunteer work in the hearts of staff members at the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters (GHQ),” he added.
