ADP and TCA Abu Dhabi to Improve Tourism

ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates - Sunday, November 16th 2014 [ME NewsWire]

The Abu Dhabi Police (ADP) and the Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority (TCA Abu Dhabi) discussed plans for adopting mutual cooperation and collaboration mechanisms in order to improve services for tourists and visitors, and to provide a safe and stable environment for the visitors and participants in the various events and activities in the UAE. 

Brigadier Omair Mohammed Al Muhairi, Deputy Director General of Police Operations, held a meeting with Jassim Mohammed Al Darmaki, Deputy Director General of the TCA Abu Dhabi. The meeting, which was attended by a large number of Abu Dhabi Police and TCA Abu Dhabi representatives, addressed the methods utilized to support the efforts of the TCA Abu Dhabi to develop the tourism industry within the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, while correspondingly enhancing the vision and strategy of the ADP in promoting security and stability.

The meeting highlighted the roles of both sides and the duties of the ADP as a strategic partner within the Abu Dhabi 2030 plan. The partnership will support the further march of the vast civilized accomplishments achieved in the UAE, and the witnessed movement of active tourism within the capital. Abu Dhabi has become one of the most favorite global destinations for tourism and investments through the provision of a safe and secure environment, an affluent lifestyle, and by fostering an ideal environment for investment and infrastructure development.

Both sides discussed plans and programs aimed at developing the prospects of constructive and fruitful cooperation, which positively affect the tourism environment of the UAE on an international scale. 

Brigadier Al Muhairi said: “The meeting falls under a series of collaborative meetings that foster mutual efforts and support the initiatives of the TCA Abu Dhabi to provide the best services to tourists, guests, and the visitors who participate in different activities and events. These initiatives take part in full cooperation and collaboration with the concerned entities and institutions, and the Abu Dhabi Police is one of the most important strategic partners of the TCA Abu Dhabi.

Well-planned out and advanced planning achieves the best results. The ongoing endeavors to achieve the best results within a collaborative framework reflect positively on the leadership’s aspirations to promote the Emirate of Abu Dhabi as a global tourism destination that attracts visitors from all cultures. This vision also aims to increase investments by organizing, hosting, and promoting major events - ultimately empowering the status of the UAE in the events industry and management scenes while providing the best security for guests, participants, invitees, and tourists.”

The Tourism Police Section at the Abu Dhabi Police is working within this framework and is providing its services to the guests and visitors of the UAE, and in collaboration with the TCA Abu Dhabi, the section consistently strives to create the best ways to communicate with tourists.
